The trip started in Denver with an early flight. From Phoenix we headed to Flagstaff, picked up Pete D, Rick and some lunch and off to North Rim. 32º and freezing rain on the way got our attention (this was supposed to be the good weather day).
An 8:30 dinner res meant some time to kill. Is there a better way than drinking wine and beer on the deck? Maybe...
